Dec. 10, 2008: Crime reports from Constable, Pct. 5

Three arrests have been made in the area.

On Monday in the 12300 block of Memorial, a driver was stopped by MVPD and had open warrants thru pct 5.  He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.

On Tuesday, in the 12400 block of Memorial, officers received a suspicious person call and as a result the male was booked into the HPD jail on an outstanding warrant from San Diego, Ca.

On Monday, in the 13600 block of Memorial, a male stole a purse from an unlocked car.  He was apprehended in the 14100 block of Kimberley.  He was charged with Burglary of Motor vehicle and Evading arrest.

Reminder:  Please remove valuable items from the interior of you car while left unattended.  This is what the burglar is looking for.  Items such as briefcases, computers, GPS, and cell phones as well as purses are a prime target.
